James' background is well suited for his role at Dir. of Worship Arts at GRACE. Prior to coming to GRACE, James spent two years performing with a touring group to places as far as Japan, Sweden, the UK, and Germany as well as the United States. While rehearsing in California, he attended Crossroads Christian Church and it was there that God focused his heart to pursue ministry through music.

In the Flint area, he's performed in several community theater productions and this past Christmas danced the roles of The Mouse King and Father in The Nutcracker. As well as acting, he plays guitar, cello and piano and sings baritone.
